Welcome to Equator Village Maldives! This accommodation is unlike any other, offering guests tranquility and a beautiful tropical retreat right on the equator. The resort is situated at the tip of the heart-shaped landmass of Addu Atoll and is connected by a causeway to the inhabited villages of the atoll. This provides an opportunity to explore the atoll, connect with locals, learn about their customs and culture, and experience the hospitality of Addu firsthand.
The hotel is particularly perfect for diving enthusiasts, as well as nature and culture lovers, as nature is palpable everywhere, and the hotel's own sandy beach with its turquoise waters will make every diver's heart beat faster.
The transfer time from MLE airport is approx. 90 minutes by domestic flight.

Speedboat: Operation for estimated arrival/departure between 5 AM and 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation for arrivals/departures between 9:30 AM and 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation for arrivals/departures between 9 AM and 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 stopovers.
For arrivals/departures outside the above times, in case of bad weather or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may be necessary.
In some areas, the sand on the north side is mixed with coral; bathing shoes are recommended.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, one child has to sleep in the parents' bed.
