Location

The True Beach Resort, consisting of the sections "True Beach Resort" (bookable under RMF333, completely renovated) and True Beach Village (bookable under RMF444, newly built), first opened its doors in December 2023. The complex, designed in an Arab bohemian style, is located south of Marsa Alam on a dreamlike stretch of coastline with a bay in front of it featuring crystal-clear water, directly on the beach. Coral reefs offshore invite snorkeling (swimming shoes recommended). Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 90 kilometers from the hotel.

The original schauinsland-reisen hotel is built in an elegant Bohemian style combined with modern Arab accents, offering a unique design in Egypt. The 5-star complex consists of two sections: "True Beach Resort," which is particularly suitable for families, and "True Beach Village" (bookable under RMF444), an adults-only area for guests aged 16 and over. The resort has a total of 158 rooms distributed across both sections, featuring a spacious reception area with a reception desk and the "True Lobby Bar" with seating indoors and outdoors. The resort area boasts two large pools and a whirlpool integrated into the main pool (one of which is heated in winter). An island in the main pool, accessible via a wooden bridge, offers chill-out areas with loungers and beanbags for all ages. A children's pool and a splash pool with various water features are located next to the kids' club and the adjacent playground with a sunshade. The main restaurant "El Manzil" serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffet-style. Additionally, the beachfront fish restaurant "Ritsa" is included once per stay. The three à la carte restaurants "El Tawla" (oriental), "NORI" (Asian fusion), and "ILIOS" (Greek) are located in the Village area and are available for a fee (adults only, reservation required). The complex also offers a pool bar "Maya," a rooftop bar "Sama Bar" (shisha available for a fee), a theater with evening entertainment programs, a beach bar, and various shops, as well as a hairdresser and spa area. The Village area is surrounded by a generous water landscape and offers a total of 4 different main pools that run through the entire complex, as well as an infinity pool overlooking the crystal-clear bay (all pools are heated). Amidst the pool landscape, you'll find a pool bar "Scarab Bar" and the oriental restaurant "El Tawla," along with a chaise lounge. Two additional bars, "Salt Bar" and "ILIOS" Bar, are located directly on the beach in the Village area. Guests of the Village area can use both sections, but not vice versa. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

They are approximately 47 sqm in size. Also bookable as Type I (DSI) with the same amenities, limited availability, and special price. Alternatively, bookable for single occupancy (DEU). Optionally available with partial sea view (D2S/S1S) or direct sea view (DMU/EMU, as Type I DMI). Available as swim-up rooms under RMF444.

Superior Double Room Seafront

The Superior Double Rooms Seafront (RF2) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival, water is refilled daily), kettle, and safe, a seating area, and a terrace or balcony. They are approximately 47 sqm in size. The rooms are located in the sections closest to the beach and offer pool and partial sea views.
Also bookable for single use (RF1). Available as swim-up rooms under RMF444.

The Family Rooms (DF2) have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, air conditioning, telephone, minibar (filled with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival, water is refilled daily), kettle, and safe, a seating area, and a balcony or terrace. They are approximately 47 sqm in size. The rooms feature a king-size bed and a sofa bed (accommodates a maximum of two children).

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler Rooms (YST) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and are bookable for young adults aged 18-29. Limited availability and special price.

Main restaurant "El Manzil" offers buffet-style dining in the resort area for breakfast (7 AM - 10 AM, times may vary by season), late risers' breakfast (10 AM - 11 AM, times may vary by season), lunch (12:30 PM - 2:30 PM, times may vary by season), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM winter season, 7 PM - 10 PM summer season). From 11:30 AM to 5 PM, snacks are available at the pool bar. From 3 PM to 4 PM, there is a tea time with cake and pastries in the resort area's lobby bar. Once per stay, the seafood à la carte restaurant "Ritsa" is included (reservation required; depending on occupancy, the restaurant may not be open daily). Upon request, the following à la carte restaurants in the Village area can be visited for a fee (reservation required): "ILIOS" (Greek), "El Tawla" (Oriental), and "NORI" (Asian fusion) (depending on the day of the week, two of the restaurants are open, from 7 PM to 10 PM, opening hours may vary by season). The following bars are available: "True Lobby Bar," "Maya" pool bar, and "Sama Bar" rooftop bar. Opening hours vary by bar. Local alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to midnight, and non-alcoholic beverages from 6 AM to midnight. A midnight snack is offered from midnight.
The minibar is stocked with 4 soft drinks and 2 small bottles of water upon arrival. Water is refilled daily.
