Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to boarding is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Excursion by hot air balloon at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continued sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary needs. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, you will find a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sq m and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sq m) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The Equinox Beach Resort is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. With a direct location on the beautiful coast of the Red Sea, the resort impresses with a 400 m long sandy beach and a 900 m long coral reef, offering the best conditions for exploring the diversity of the colorful underwater world. The diving areas around Marsa Alam are among the most beautiful in the Red Sea, while the kilometer-long coral reefs offer snorkelers a breathtaking view. Entry into the sea can be via the pier or directly from the beach. The coastal town of Marsa Alam and the small harbor town of Port Ghalib, with some shopping and entertainment options, are each about 35 km away. Marsa Alam Airport is about 30 km away.

The spacious reception hall has a reception area and comfortable seating. Further amenities of the hotel include various shops, a jeweler, and internet throughout the hotel. The oriental corner, decorated in Nubian style, invites you to linger. For culinary delights, there is the main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace, offering delicious buffet-style meals, as well as the Italian à la carte restaurant "Dolce Vita" (for a fee) with breathtaking sea views. In the beautifully landscaped outdoor area, two swimming pools (one of which is heated in winter), a children's pool, and a pool bar with a sun terrace invite you to relax and unwind. The friendly furnished Double Rooms Comfort Sea View (KM2) are approx. 27 sq m, with two single beds and have a bathroom with WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, satellite TV, minibar, telephone, and a seating area, as well as a balcony, French balcony, or terrace and a sea view.

Premium Room

The Premium Rooms ((P2G) PR2) have similar amenities to the Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 27-34 sq m). The rooms are located on the ground floor, first or second floor.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Premium Rooms but can be booked with a different occupancy.
Also available with sea view for an extra charge (F2M).

Family Room Superior

The Family Rooms Superior (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 50 sq m). The rooms have either a French balcony, balcony, or terrace.

The rooms (DMU) have similar amenities to the Double Rooms Comfort.
