Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Excursion by balloon at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast in the morning, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Departure from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Departure to Esna and visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes for your culinary well-being. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located in a quiet area, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a fantastic holiday destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms has a warm and oriental ambience. The facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception, so you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as some shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" restaurant, or the oriental "Zaytoun" is included per stay for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
Outside, there are 3 pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the hotel's private beach and by the pools.

Double Room Superior

The Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 30 m² in size, bright and friendly, and feature a shower/WC (bathrobe and slippers included in the Pharao Club), hairdryer, air conditioning (individually adjustable), telephone, satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), safe, coffee and tea maker, smoke detector, and a balcony or terrace with a garden view.
Available at an additional cost also with pool view (DSP) or sea view (DMU).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Deluxe rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are slightly larger (approx. 34 m²) and equipped with additional sofa beds.

Double Room Superior guaranteed upper floors sea view

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single use (XO1).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 42 m² in size and feature a bath or shower/WC, a spacious bedroom, and a separate living area (separated by a door). The Junior Suites have pool or sea views.
