Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must start at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to embarkation is mandatory. The next available boarding date will always be taken.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins distributed across three decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served as a buffet. Drinks are available for a fee.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a nightly disco.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with a bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also feature floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single occupancy cabin

With the same furnishings as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Booking note: Please note that if you have a flight to or from Hurghada or Marsa Alam, at least one overnight stay at the hotel is required before or after the Nile cruise.
No overnight stay is necessary if you fly to and/or from Luxor.

Located in the beautiful bay of Marsa Mubarak, the Jaz Costa Mares hotel is part of the renowned Jaz Hotel Group. The coral reef in front of the hotel offers a fascinating underwater world for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the best-known spots for diving with dugongs and turtles.
The nearest town with a beautiful marina and various shopping and entertainment options is about 5 km away. The distance to Marsa Alam Airport is only about 8 km.

The modern hotel complex (from Winter 2025/2026, adults only from 16 years!) comprises a total of 208 rooms spread across the main building and adjacent buildings. The stylish hotel is equipped with a modern lobby with reception, a fitness studio, various shops, and a spa area. For your culinary well-being, there is a buffet restaurant with an outdoor terrace and two à la carte restaurants. The "Anchor" offers Italian specialties, and "Sands" is located on the beach and offers international cuisine (included once a week with a minimum stay of 7 nights – subject to availability and reservation required), as well as several bars.
In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter).
Sun loungers, cushions, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. Beach and bath towels are provided fresh daily in your room.

The Double Superior Bay View (SVB) rooms are 29 m² and feature a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, coffee and tea maker, safe, telephone, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony.

Superior Family Room Garden View

The Superior Garden View family rooms (F2S) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms (29 m²) but with an additional sofa bed. The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Junior Suite Sea View

The Junior Suites Sea View (J2M) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms but are larger (120 m²) and have a direct sea view.

Deluxe Family Room Pool or Sea View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Pool or Sea View (FMD) have the same amenities as the Double Superior Bay View rooms but are larger (approx. 45 m²).
The rooms are located on the ground floor.

Deluxe Family Room Bay View

The Deluxe Family Rooms Bay View (BDV) are approx. 46 m² and consist of 2 rooms with an connecting door, with garden or beach view, otherwise with the same amenities as the Double Superior.
