Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it goes back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars provide refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a nightly disco.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with a bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

The resort, belonging to the renowned Steigenberger chain, is situated quietly, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dream destination offering ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms features a warm and oriental ambiance. The facilities include a welcoming lobby with a reception to make you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: each stay includes one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" Restaurant, or the Oriental "Zaytoun" for All Inclusive guests (reservations required).
Outside, there are 3 swimming pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the hotel's private beach and by the pools.

Superior Double Room guaranteed upper floors with sea view

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original Rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 42 m² in size and feature a bath or shower/WC, a spacious bedroom, and a separate living area (separated by a door). The Junior Suites have a pool or sea view.

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, each served as a buffet. During the day, various snacks are available for in-between hunger.
In the afternoon, enjoy tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cakes from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM, and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as fresh juice, are available from 10 AM to 12 AM (midnight). "Pharao Club" guests receive one dinner in an à la carte restaurant (at "Fayruz") per stay, reservation required. A fruit basket upon arrival. Also, a daily bottle of water (two bottles in family rooms) and coffee and tea are included. Beach towels are changed daily, free use of the Health Club.
