Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Itinerary:
Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 In the early morning, you have the option of an optional hot-air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the journey.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Proceed to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the journey.
 Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3) followed by proceeding to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, continue from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival on Bassaw Island, a one-hour walk through green fields and discovery of the traditional life of the locals
Followed by breakfast on board during the onward journey.
Arrival at Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, lunch during the journey to Hor Diab Island
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there is an opportunity to swim in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae (1,2,3), then Felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to the Nubian village (3).
 Lunch on board
Optional participation in the sound and light show at the Temple of Philae (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with breakfast box included (2,3)
Breakfast on board for guests without the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea break during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14 hours drive)
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, continue from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours)
 Arrival in Luxor, visit to the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental souk
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).
Dinner, entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 8
Breakfast on board and departure.

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style, inspired by antiquity to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreats such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool and a comfortable bar.

Location

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach section in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of turtles and has a house reef that invites snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is about 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex has a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the complex. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and was conceived very generously. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay and features a reception with various seating areas and a lobby bar. The outdoor area has a large pool landscape that winds through the resort. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge in the pool area and on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex has a spacious gym on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent to it is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

Double Room Superior

The friendly furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU, approx. 51sqm) have a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, mini-bar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a mini-bar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. There is also a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Also bookable for single occupancy (K1), with pool view (DSP), side sea view (DSS) and sea view (DMU).

Double Room Superior Guaranteed Top Floor Sea View

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also bookable for single occupancy (MSE).

Double Room Premium Swim-up

The Double Rooms Premium Swim-up (DWP) can be booked as schauinsland-reisen original rooms and have the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, but with direct access to the sharing pool. The rooms also have the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, an additional 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and various Arabic pastries.
- Use of the à la carte restaurants is included once more (Teppanyaki restaurant is excluded; in all other rooms, the à la carte restaurants are included only once).

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Deluxe rooms (DD2), with the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, are larger (approx. 56sqm) and, due to their furnishings (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area), are suitable for families. Optionally also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2) or as swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150sqm) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, mini-bar and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a mini-bar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153sqm and, with the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, have a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea view.

Double Room Superior Premium (RMFA45)

Otherwise, with the same features as the Double Rooms Superior, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).
