Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Embarkation: Thursdays. The route may change depending on the embarkation day. Route: Day 1: Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor. Day 2: A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally). In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board. Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board. Day 3: Morning sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board. The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and generously designed reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars ensure refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also offers ample loungers for relaxation and a generously designed pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with belly dancers, Galabeya parties, folklore shows, and a nightly disco.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 m²) have a bathroom with bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Cabin for 1 person

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11m²) and with only one bed.

Booking note: Please note that for an outward or return flight to/from Hurghada or Marsa Alam, at least one overnight stay in the hotel is required before or after the Nile cruise. Lage

The extensive resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/gravel beach (beach shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport. The gently sloping beach offers the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can get to know the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 522 rooms. The cozily and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - international cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants and various bars and a café, The Bakery. In the extensive outdoor area, there are 12 pools and 3 children's pools (some heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with over 30 water slides offers fun for young and old. Sun loungers, umbrellas, mattresses, and towels are free of charge by the pool and on the beach. Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).
