Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor refreshing drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approximately 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The Jaz Amara resort, newly opened in December 2023, is located on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for the settlement of sea turtles and has a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday destination is approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping facilities with bars and restaurants can be found at the port of Port Ghalib (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly constructed hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites spread throughout the resort. These include various superior and deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been generously conceived. The impressive lobby offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and features a reception area with various seating options as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. There are seven different pools, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach. Bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex features a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Adjacent to it is the hotel's own Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are at your disposal.

The cheerfully furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51m²) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with a king-size bed or two single beds. A tea and coffee station is also available in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. Superior Double Room Guaranteed Top Floor Sea View

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen Original Rooms and feature the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also offer the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket in the room upon arrival
- VIP Treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 56m²) and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Also available with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as swim-up rooms (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150m²) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. The Executive Suites also have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153m² and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. The rooms also have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With otherwise the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (12:30-2:30 pm), and dinner (7-10 pm) in buffet style. A late riser's breakfast is also available from 10:30 am to 12 pm. Additionally, two à la carte restaurants are available (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (except Teppanyaki), but are then subject to a charge: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. Tea time is served from 12:30 pm to 5 pm. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
Appropriate attire is requested for dinner.
Men must wear long trousers and appropriate footwear; no tank tops or shorts of any length.
