Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then, back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues sailing to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and refresh yourself with cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The friendly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also has a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the Suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the Suites, and may not have a French balcony and a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The Jaz Amara Resort, newly opened in December 2023, is situated on a beautiful, gently sloping beach in the first row of the popular Marsa Mares bay. The bay is particularly known for its resident sea turtles and features a house reef ideal for snorkeling and diving. Your holiday accommodation is located approximately 8 kilometers from Marsa Alam Airport. Various shopping opportunities with bars and restaurants can be found at the Port Ghalib harbor (about 5 kilometers away).

The stylishly built hotel complex features a total of 272 rooms and suites distributed throughout the grounds. These include various Superior and Deluxe rooms, suites, and swim-up rooms. Your holiday resort impresses with a very appealing, elegant design and has been conceived with great spaciousness. The impressive reception area offers a direct sea view of the resort and the bay, and includes a reception desk with various seating areas as well as a lobby bar. The outdoor area boasts a large pool landscape that winds through the complex. Seven different pools await you, including a children's pool, a baby pool, and a jacuzzi (partially heated in winter). Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge for guests in the pool area as well as on the private beach section; bath and beach towels are already provided in the rooms. Furthermore, the complex features a spacious fitness studio on the first floor with a panoramic view of the bay and the pool landscape. Directly adjacent is the hotel's Mivida Spa (for a fee). A main restaurant, two à la carte restaurants, and various bars are available.

The friendly furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU, approx. 51 sqm) feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, and a minibar. The rooms are equipped with either a king-size bed or two single beds. Additionally, there is a tea and coffee station in the room. The rooms have a terrace or a balcony. The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen-Original Rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Premium Swim-up Double Room

The Premium Swim-up Double Rooms (DWP) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen-Original Rooms and have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with direct access to the shared pool. The rooms also feature the following exclusive amenities:
- Fruit basket upon arrival in the rooms
- VIP Treatment upon arrival: coffee/tea maker in the room, plus 2 bathrobes and slippers, various snacks such as apples, berries, chocolate, macarons, nuts, and assorted Arabic pastries.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2) are larger (approx. 56 sqm) with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms and are suitable for families due to their layout (one king-size bed and two sofa beds in the front area). Also bookable with side sea view (DDS), sea view (DM2), or as a swim-up (DWU).

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2SU) are spacious (approx. 150 sqm) and feature a walk-in shower/WC, individually adjustable air conditioning, minibar, and telephone (each for a fee), Wi-Fi (included), LED TV, a minibar, and a coffee/tea maker. Furthermore, the Executive Suites have a living/dining area. The suites have a large balcony with a private pool.
The rooms are located on the first floor.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) are 153 sqm and, with the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, feature a king-size bed and a dining area. Additionally, the rooms have a spacious terrace with access to a private pool (heated in winter) and direct sea views.

Superior Double Room Premium (RMFA45)

With the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, these are slightly more spacious (SPU/SPE).

The main restaurant "Marasi Restaurant" offers international cuisine for breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (12:30-2:30 PM), and dinner (7-10 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, a late riser breakfast is available from 10:30 AM to 12 PM. The resort also features two à la carte restaurants (reservations required), which are included once per stay/guest (excluding Teppanyaki), but charged thereafter: "Tao Tao" restaurant with a selection of Asian dishes including sushi, sashimi, Japanese dishes, or Teppanyaki. The "Bay View" à la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean fine dining cuisine. A tea time is offered from 12:30 PM to 5 PM. Various bars offer various refreshments and snacks during the day, such as the "La Vista Pool Snack Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks), "Splash Pool Bar", "Fantasia Lobby Bar", and "Bay View Beach Bar" (snacks and local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks).
