Product information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Itinerary:.
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch and dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Saver Cabins

The saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The 5-star luxury hotel complex is located in the heart of the beautiful Madinat Coraya. Access to the sea is via a jetty. From here, the picturesque underwater world of Madinat Coraya can be discovered. The resort also has its own sandy beach section and is only approx. 5 km from Marsa Alam Airport.

Facilities

The beautiful adults-only resort (bookable for ages 16 and up) features 290 elegantly furnished rooms and suites. The spacious reception area offers guests a reception and a lobby bar with seating. The hotel has a souvenir shop and a hairdresser. The main restaurant and four à la carte restaurants ("Basilico"-Italian, "Rocca"-Asian, "Zaytoun"-Oriental, "Mashawi"-Seafood) cater to guests' culinary needs, serving delicious dishes. The various bars offer a wide selection of drinks.
In the outdoor area of the complex, there are five generously designed pools (some heated in winter) and inviting sun terraces.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Royal Suite Sea View Private Pool

The Royal Suites (RSM) are luxuriously appointed and feature the same amenities as the double rooms. The Royal Suite is approx. 160 sqm and additionally equipped with 2 bathrooms with bathtub, jacuzzi, living area, sleeping area, and a terrace with a private pool.

Superior Double Room

The tastefully furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are 40 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, LED TV, safe, telephone (for a fee), balcony, and garden view.
Available at an extra charge also with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S) or sea view (DMU) and for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Superior Double Room Swim Up

The Superior Double Swim Up rooms (DWP) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are slightly more spacious (approx. 50 sqm) and have direct access to the pool from the terrace.
Also available for single occupancy at an extra charge (EWP).

Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Sea View rooms (DM2) have the same amenities as the Superior Double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm), and additionally feature a dressing room and a balcony.

Deluxe Double Room Swim-Up

The Deluxe Double Swim Up rooms (DWU) are bookable as schauinsland-original rooms. The rooms have the same amenities as the Superior Double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 70 sqm), and have direct access to the shared pool.
Also bookable with sea view (DWS) and for single occupancy (WU1/EWS).

Premium Deluxe Double Room Swim Up

The Premium Deluxe Double Swim Up rooms (PWS) have the same amenities as the Superior Double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 75 sqm), with an integrated jacuzzi and access to the shared pool.
Also bookable with sea view at an extra charge (DUM).

The Premium Deluxe Double Sea View rooms are similar in amenities to the Superior Double rooms, but are larger at approx. 75 sqm and have a sea view (P2M).
