Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor refreshing drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approximately 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The balconies of the Royal Suites also include a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approximately 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) than the suites with otherwise identical amenities, and may not have a French balcony and a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable for guests aged 16 and over) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms offers a warm and oriental ambiance. The facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception, ensuring you feel comfortable from the very first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean cuisine), and various bars. Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: once per stay, All Inclusive guests are entitled to a visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" Restaurant, or the Oriental "Zaytoun" (reservation required). Double Room Superior Sea View, guaranteed upper floors

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea. Also bookable for single use (XO1).

Junior Suite

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, all served buffet-style. Various snacks are available during the day for in-between hunger. Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as fresh juice, are available from 10 AM to midnight. "Pharao Club" guests receive one dinner at an à la carte restaurant per stay (at "Fayruz"), reservation required. A fruit basket upon arrival.
