Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then sails on to Luxor.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship has a small gym, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sq m and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sq m). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sq m and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sq m) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The beautiful hotel complex, opened at the end of 2021, is located directly in the heart of Makadi Bay next to the popular sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (HRG223). The holiday resort is situated in the first row on the beach, at the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots in the bay, offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently sloping beach.
The city center of Hurghada is about 37 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 32 km away.

With its unique and high-quality dining concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt, offering a choice of three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine, and "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The à la carte restaurant "Posh Club Lounge" is exclusively available to Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Tucana Pool Suites (PSW) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms but are larger (approx. 50-65 sq m), with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower, and access to a private outdoor shower (partially screened and not visible), a seating area, and a terrace with access to a private pool. The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1 PM to 4 PM, and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina," "Gaia," "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to have your breakfast exclusively at the "Posh Club Lounge." Sparkling wine breakfast is included for you in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can be taken either in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet & Light, Bedouin restaurant).
