Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues sailing to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modern, well-appointed exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft and hot drinks. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The resort consists of 473 rooms, spread across a main building and 2 side wings. The complex has a spacious, friendly lobby with a reception, several bars, and shops. For your culinary well-being, there is a Chinese restaurant "L'Asiatique", an à la carte restaurant "Wow" (included once per stay), an Italian restaurant "Soprano", an Oriental restaurant "Saffron", and a beach bar with snacks. In the outdoor area, between the main building and the beach, there is a spacious pool landscape with 4 children's pools (heated in winter), with water slides, and 2 adult pools (one heated in winter).
