Route/Ship location

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the High Dam visit in Aswan. The excursion packages listed below can of course still be booked. ***************************************************** Embarkation: Thursday. Depending on the embarkation day, the route may shift. Route: Day 1: Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board. The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed with a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, relax on the sun deck loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style or as a set menu. Breakfast includes soft drinks and hot beverages. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished Suites (S2) are approximately 24 sq m and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sq m). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approximately 13 sq m and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sq m) and may not have a French balcony or a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The appealing, upscale hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, housing a total of 621 rooms. The hotel offers a reception with a spacious lobby in its luxurious entrance area, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including those serving Asian and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafés, and an oriental pub cater to your culinary desires. The generously designed outdoor area features a large, lagoon-style pool landscape with several pools (1 heated from November to April) and a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (1 heated children's pool). Loungers, parasols, and beach towels are provided free of charge on the sun terraces and at the beach.
