Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.

A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Sailing further to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing on to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.

In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).

Day 7:

Then, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three onboard bars. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the stunning views of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The balconies of the Royal Suites also feature a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and no seating area.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with returning guests, is located on Hurghada's first beachfront in one of the region's most popular coastal areas. The generously designed complex is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise waters. The outdoor area boasts an extensive pool landscape covering over 5,000m³ with a "Lazy River" over 400 meters long meandering through the resort, a seawater pool (heated), and a "Jacuzzi Island" (for guests aged 16+). Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. A selection of five different bars and seven diverse restaurants cater to your culinary desires. The Schauinsland-Reisen exclusive rooms (DLM) offer the same amenities as the Superior Suite Sea View, are guaranteed to be on the 4th floor, and thus provide a breathtaking view of the sea.

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) have the same amenities as the Superior Suites, but are larger (approx. 55 sqm) with a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and sea view.

The View Suite (S2) is approx. 115 sqm and equipped with an open bathroom with shower and whirlpool, separate WC, a separate guest WC, RFID door lock, an open living area, a bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. Enjoy your breakfast (7 AM-10:30 AM), lunch (1 PM-4 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM-10 PM in summer and 6 PM-10 PM in winter) buffet style, with changing theme buffets in the evening, at the main "Tamarind" restaurant. Alternatively, for lunch, the "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch menu from 1 PM to 5 PM or the "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch buffet from 12 PM to 3 PM and a lunch menu from 1 PM to 4 PM is available.
