Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outbound flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., optional balloon excursion (can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit of the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, sail to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday with direct beach access at the popular Beach Albatros Resort, part of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and let yourself be enchanted. The resort is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and about 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

Spacious hotel lobby with modern chandelier, blue chairs, and a grand piano.

This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. Upper floors can be comfortably reached by five elevators. The reception area offers a reception desk and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), one à la carte restaurant, a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar," newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, the pool landscape extends over a total of 9 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and a children's pool, 13 slides for adults and 9 slides for children, providing plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and bath towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Bungalow Garden View

The Bungalow Garden View rooms (BG2) have a size of approx. 30 m² and are equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floor, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Also bookable as Type I rooms (BGI/DEI) with special price and limited quota.
Also available for an extra charge with pool view (B2O) or for single occupancy (BG1/B1O).

Superior Double Room Pool View

The Superior Double Rooms Pool View (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View, but are larger (approx. 36 m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the outbuildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (approx. 24 m², DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but also offer sea views and are located in the main building.
Also bookable for single occupancy (DEM).

Super Economy Room

The Super Economy Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, are located throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited quota.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.
Also bookable as Type I rooms (DFI) with special price and limited quota.
Also bookable with pool view (FP2) for an extra charge.

Suite Sea View

The Suites Sea View (S2M) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View, but are more spacious (approx. 48 m²) with a living room-bedroom and a separate bedroom. The rooms are located in the main building.
