Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Temple of Luxor (1,2,3) and the Temple of Karnak (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked on site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served at the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The nicely furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter lagoon with a private beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling there. El Gouna center is about 350 meters away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in Nubian village style, impresses with its cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two smaller slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer a view of the pool/garden or lagoon. Also available for single occupancy (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as requested. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Double Room Superior Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (1-3 PM), and dinner (6-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet style), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee), and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
