Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. If the Nile cruise is booked first, the outward flight must be to Luxor. If the hotel is booked first and then the Nile cruise, the return flight must be from Luxor.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Excursion by hot air balloon at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast in the morning, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Drive to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The Economy Cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The Sheraton Miramar Resort, built in Nubian style, invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel complex extends over nine small islands, on which the various hotel buildings are spread out. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately puts you in a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly running boat and bus shuttle. Hurghada Airport is approx. 40 km away.

Designed by the famous architect Michael Graves, the resort with 339 rooms fascinates with its colorful combination of Arabic and Nubian style and its location amidst a beautiful, exotic garden landscape. The comfortable communal facilities include a spacious lobby with reception, several well-maintained lounges, various shops, a hairdresser and a beauty salon. Let yourself be pampered culinarily by the main restaurant "Miramar" and the two à la carte restaurants. Various bars are spread throughout the beautiful complex, including the impressive "Miramar Bar", which offers small snacks and drinks. In the outdoor area, a large pool landscape (partially heated) with comfortable sun terraces is available to guests. Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas and bath towels are included by the pool and on the beach. The beach with its turquoise lagoons invites you to swim. From the hotel complex, you can also reach the public island beach "Zeytouna Beach" and the "Zeytouna Beach Pier" on foot.

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and have a size of approx. 38 sqm. The rooms feature a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's lagoon. Also bookable as a double room for single use (DEU).

Premium Double Room with Partial Sea View

The rooms (P2D) have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, safe, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a partial sea view and have been renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The newly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located in the first row of the beach. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms, but is more spacious (approx. 52 sqm) and has an open living area.
