Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours drive). En route, you will visit the Temple of Hathor (1.2), then continue to the town of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship awaits you. Upon arrival at the port, a welcome drink. Embarkation and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Option to take an excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (bookable on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then transfer back to the ship and lunch on board while sailing to Suhag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Suhag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Suhag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board while sailing the Nile from Suhag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15 hours drive). Overnight on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna, "The City of Akhetaton" (2), to discover the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suif (approx. 12 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suif.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahoun, "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13 hours drive). Dinner during the cruise and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light Show in the Giza area (bookable on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check out from the ship and transfer to Hurghada by luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. You can relax and enjoy your vacation on the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served as a buffet. Drinks are available for a fee.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter lagoon with its own stretch of beach in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes drive) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out to the Red Sea. From there, experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in Nubian village style, impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, electric kettle, coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are more spacious (approx. 28 sqm) and offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, an electric kettle, and tea and coffee making facilities.

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms and have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (1-3 pm), and dinner (6-9 pm) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 pm. Several specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 am buffet), lunch (11 am-3 pm à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 pm à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at lunchtime (12-3 pm à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 pm à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 pm à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded). Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee. Table reservations through the hotel (ideally by 12 pm on the same day) are recommended.
