Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next available boarding date will always be used.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
At 5 AM, a hot air balloon ride can be booked (optional, bookable on site only).
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, visit the West Bank with the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3), the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3), and the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3).
Lunch on board. Then, proceed to Edfu.
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Breakfast on board. Then, proceed to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board.
After arriving in Kom Ombo, the Temple of Kom Ombo can be visited (1,2,3).
Continue sailing towards Aswan. Dinner on board.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.
Then, there is an opportunity to visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, there is an opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Continue sailing to Esna.
Day 6:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Continue sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board. Dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board.
Visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3).
Day 8:
Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offerings are complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your vacation.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks are available for a fee.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore provides entertainment.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins have a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped lagoon of 1,500 meters with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes by boat) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty extends from Zeytouna Beach into the Red Sea. From there, you can experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in a Nubian village style, impresses with its cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Accommodation

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully decorated rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, and coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are more spacious (approx. 28 sqm) and offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The comfortable family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Available for single use (DSE).

Superior Double Room Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.
