Product information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Boarding will always be on the next possible date.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) including a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Sail to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a wonderful family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". This 5-star hotel is great for the whole family and impresses both young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the gently sloping sandy beach, which is about 400 meters away. Enjoy snorkeling or diving here and be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea. If necessary, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday accommodation is located in the newer district of Hurghada on the modern promenade with oriental cafés, bars, and international pubs as well as small shops. The center of Hurghada with the famous "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and family-oriented, featuring 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests in a spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating areas. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. In the outdoor area, there are seven swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool, covering over 2,600 m², some of which are heated in winter. The hotel also has a water park with various water slides, accessible from a height of 1.20 meters. The highlight for all water lovers is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that runs through the entire complex. The rooftop terrace features a relaxation pool accessible only to adults. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach. For culinary delights, the main restaurant "Magic Flavors" is available, as well as three different à la carte restaurants, a snack bar, and various pool and beach bars. Guests can choose between Italian, international, and oriental cuisine. There is also a "Sky Bar" on the rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy their drinks in the evening. Small items such as souvenirs can be purchased in the shopping arcade located directly in the hotel.

Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²) and feature a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for children. The master bedroom is separated by a door from the sleeping area and hallway. Wi-Fi access is free for 3 devices. Also bookable as a Suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same amenities as the Family Suites but feature a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a Junior Suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Room.
Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms but have a smaller quota and a special price. The rooms are scattered throughout the complex and are sometimes in less desirable locations. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Standard Double Room

The Double Rooms (DA) have similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms, are slightly smaller (approx. 24 m²), but are in a renovated, modern style. The rooms are scattered throughout the complex and do not have a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler Rooms (YTR) are equipped like the Standard Double Rooms and are bookable for young adults aged 18-29.
