Product information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must start at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. Boarding will always be the next possible available option.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue journey to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel belonging to the renowned Jaz Hotel group is located directly on the long private sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants, and bars that invite you to stroll. The water park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

Facilities

Jaz Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. In addition to the show cooking in the hotel restaurant, the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi ensures culinary variety.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area includes a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, cushions, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Double Superior

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (refilled daily free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. A large bottle of water is provided daily in the room (free of charge).
Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU), or for single use (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).
For single use, type B (DEB) is also available at a special price and limited availability.

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are slightly more spacious, approx. 47 sqm, and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also available with pool view (FUP) or sea-facing (FY2) for an extra charge.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior rooms (SU2) have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms but are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional seating/sleeping area separated by a curtain.
Also available as Double Deluxe (DD2). In this room, the seating/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Rooms Deluxe (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Rooms Superior. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.
Also available with pool view for an extra charge (FPD).

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer, with the same amenities as the Double Superior, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites are 56 sqm. They offer a variety of wonderful views and are luxuriously furnished.
