Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Excursion by balloon at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast in the morning, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast in the morning, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sail to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also available for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

These economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Cabin

These cabins (K1B) have the same furnishings as the standard cabins but are slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and have only one bed. The window cannot be opened.

Location

The hotel "Pickalbatros Aqua Park", very popular with families, is located only approx. 700m from the hotel's own beach section. You can reach this after a short walk across the grounds of the sister hotel "Beach Albatros" (HRG013) or by free shuttle. The hotel is separated from "Beach Albatros" by only one street. Hurghada Airport is approx. 10 km away, and Hurghada Downtown is about a 20-minute drive.

Facilities

The particularly family-friendly resort has 296 rooms spread across the main building and four 3-story outbuildings. In addition to two restaurants in the hotel (Mediterranean cuisine, Asian cuisine) and various bars, other restaurants from the sister hotels can also be used. The hotel also offers a spacious lobby with a lobby bar, reception, and ATM, as well as several shops outside the hotel and a hairdresser. In the outdoor area, there is an amphitheater, 5 swimming pools (one of which is heated, one children's pool), an Olympic pool at the sister hotel Pickalbatros Aqua Vista (for a fee), and the Aqua Park with 9 water slides for adults. There are 16 more slides for children at "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu" which can be used. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included by the pool and on the beach, towels only by the pool. There is a beach bar on the beach, which is also included. If required, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked.

Double Room

The double rooms (D) are friendly and tastefully furnished with a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, kettle, telephone, satellite TV, safe, and balcony or terrace, and have a size of approx. 32 m².
Also bookable with pool view (PD) or for single use (DE/PDE). Additionally bookable as type I room (DI/DEI) with special price and limited availability.

Super Saver Room

These super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same furnishings as the double rooms but have limited availability and a special price.

Family Room

The family rooms (DF2) are approx. 48 m² in size, consist of 2 bedrooms, and have a balcony or terrace.
Also bookable with pool view (FP2).
