When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan. Of course, the excursion packages listed below can still be booked.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the route may vary.
Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking view of the landscape along the Nile.

The cheerfully furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also has a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same amenities as the Suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) than the Suites, otherwise have the same amenities, but may lack a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

The Albatros Makadi Resort is located in the popular Makadi Bay. The Albatros Makadi Resort is only approx. 35 km from Hurghada International Airport. The hotel, in a prime location, is directly on a 600-meter-long white sandy beach and offers perfect conditions for swimming. The fully renovated resort has 623 spacious rooms spread across several buildings. The hotel is also equipped with a cozy lobby and various shops. For your culinary pleasure, there are five buffet restaurants (an Italian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant, an Asian restaurant, an oriental restaurant, and a steakhouse) and six bars. The spacious and friendly outdoor area features 15 pools with six integrated children's pools and a separate children's pool (one of which is heated in winter), as well as the Adults-Aqua-Park-Tower with six slides. A small aqua park with ten slides is available for children.

Splash Room Aqua Park View

The rooms (HD2) are approx. 103 m² in size and consist of two rooms with a connecting door. The rooms have two bathrooms with shower, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, dressing area, minibar (daily water free of charge) and balcony with a view of the Aqua Park.
