When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the route may vary.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Temple of Luxor (1,2,3) and the Temple of Karnak (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked locally).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor refreshing drinks from the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The tastefully decorated suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also features a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The adults-only hotel (bookable for ages 16 and up) has a total of 100 stylishly furnished rooms spread across several small buildings. The à la carte restaurant "The Kitchen Club" serves guests typical Eastern Mediterranean specialties from a colorful mix of recipes and flavors from around the world. Young Traveller Room

The Young Traveller Rooms (YTR) are equipped like the double rooms and are only bookable for young adults aged 18-29. The rooms have a limited contingent and a special price.

Premium Double Room Garden View

The Premium Double Rooms (2GP, approx. 48 sqm) have the same amenities as the double rooms, plus a rooftop terrace with sunset views and garden views.
Also available with sea view (2PM) and for single occupancy (1GP/1PM).

The Junior Suites (JS2) are equipped like double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 42-48 sqm) and feature a terrace with direct access to the shared pool, as well as pool and garden views.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with Half Board, Full Board, or All-Inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in establishments of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
