The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once you arrive, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered culinarily in the main restaurant and enjoy cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and have a shower/toilet, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the main deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also has a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise identical amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort is located directly on the picturesque, extensive sandy beach of Makadi Bay, about 30 kilometers south of Hurghada. This region is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers. As the access to the sea near the shore is rocky, wearing water shoes is recommended. The hotel's own jetty leads over the offshore reef into deeper water, making it easy to enter the sea. From there, you can experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea up close. The lively city center of Hurghada, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, is about 35 kilometers away and offers a variety of entertainment options. Hurghada International Airport is also only 30 kilometers away, ensuring convenient arrival.

The extensive Cleopatra Luxury Resort is idyllically nestled in a spacious garden. Several two- to three-story buildings are spread throughout this magnificent setting, accommodating a total of 531 comfortably furnished rooms. Guests are welcomed in the friendly and spacious reception hall with a reception desk and lobby bar, which invites guests to linger with its cozy seating areas. Culinary delights await in the buffet restaurant "Soko," offering international and local cuisine, as well as two exquisite à la carte restaurants: "Vista Mare" with Italian specialties and the "Pool Restaurant" with fresh fish and seafood dishes. An oriental café with a shisha corner and a pub, where cocktails and music create a pleasant atmosphere, complete the gastronomic offerings. At the pool bar, guests can refresh themselves with a variety of drinks, while various small shops on the premises invite for a relaxed browse. The spacious garden area of the resort features six beautifully designed swimming pools, one of which is heated, as well as a separate children's pool and generous sun terraces. Double Room Premium Deluxe

The Double Rooms Premium Deluxe (P2D) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are renovated.

The Junior Suites (JS2) have similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior but are more spacious (approx. 65 sqm) and offer an open living area and sea view.

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior but with limited availability and a special price.

Early breakfast from 4 am to 7 am, breakfast snack in the lobby bar, breakfast buffet from 7 am to 10 am in the main restaurant, late riser breakfast from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at the pool bar.
Lunch from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm as a buffet in the main restaurant. Lunch snacks from 12:30 pm to 4 pm at the pool bar. Afternoon ice cream and pastries from 4 pm to 5 pm at the pool bar.
Dinner in buffet form with live cooking in the main restaurant from 6:45 pm to 9:30 pm.

Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included around the clock at the respective open bar.
The lobby bar is open around the clock, the pub "Vista Mare" from 3 pm to 1 am, the pool bar from 9 am to 7 pm, and the "Half Way Bar" from 10 am until sunset.
Upon arrival, the minibar is filled once with local soft drinks. Water is refilled daily.

Not All Inclusive

Drinks in the disco (always Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10:45 pm to 2 am). The oriental café "Scheherazade" is open from 12 pm to 12 am and is also subject to a charge.

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort offers an impressive variety of sports activities for its guests. Tennis can be played for a fee with equipment and floodlights. Other sports facilities include table tennis, a well-equipped fitness room, bocce, basketball, mini-football, volleyball, billiards, and darts.

At the beach, there is a water sports station offering various activities, including catamarans and windsurfing. Additionally, a diving center (Extra-Divers) offers introductory dives, diving courses, and much more. For guests who prefer land-based activities, archery is also available.
