The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan. Of course, the excursion packages listed below can still be booked.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 am (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Felucca sailing on the Nile in the afternoon (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 am, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking view of the landscape along the Nile.

The friendly and tastefully furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also feature a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the Suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the Suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Location

The extensive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400 m long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach that facilitates access to deeper water and provides perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is about 300 m away. The center of Hurghada is about 20 km away, and Hurghada International Airport is about 15 km away.

Facilities

In the popular 5-star family resort, you'll experience water fun for the whole family! The complex is nestled in a beautiful and generously designed garden landscape. Enjoy a great family vacation and experience Egyptian hospitality. The hotel complex, particularly popular with regular guests, has 481 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray Lobby Bar, and the Giardino Buffet Restaurant. The spacious and well-maintained garden offers a large pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and Children's Pool with slides; heated in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own water park with twelve different water slides (usable from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (Octopus, Snake) which will thrill water lovers of all ages.

Superior Double Room

The 45 sqm tastefully furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) feature a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee and tea maker, seating area, minibar (daily refill with water, once a week refill with soft drinks), air conditioning, safe, TV, and balcony or terrace.
Also available for single occupancy (DE, DES). Available as Type I (DI) with a special price, limited availability.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Superior Double Rooms, but with limited availability and a special price.

Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DPB), with the same amenities as the standard double rooms, are also approx. 45 sqm and additionally feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a seating area with a side table, and a dressing table. The rooms have a pool view.
Also available for single occupancy (DPE).
Also available with a side sea view (DDS/EDD) and as Type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

Katta Family Room

The Katta Family Rooms (KWF) with bunk beds are available as original Schauinsland-Reisen rooms and are freshly renovated in the Katta style (available as KWF and DF2).
The rooms offer additional amenities for children, such as a bunk bed in the Katta style, a Katta play area with beanbags, a small table with chairs, an extra Smart TV with HDMI connection, and a Katta height chart on the wall. The power outlets are also equipped with child safety locks. In the bathrooms, there are child-sized towel rails and a step stool in front of the sink. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approx. 45 sqm.
Also available as a double room (FR2).
With 2 adults and 3 children, space is limited.

Katta Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/FMK) are bookable as original Schauinsland-Reisen rooms and are renovated.
The suites are approx. 75 sqm and consist of two separate bedrooms, with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with two single beds, separated by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with king-size beds are equipped analogously to the double rooms and have a Smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature a special light effect, a dresser with a Smart TV and HDMI connection, and a chill-out area with a beanbag. The power outlets are equipped with child safety locks, and the bathrooms have a step stool and child-sized towel rails.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in Kattas Family Suites.
The Family Suites can also accommodate up to 4 adults.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 80 sqm and consist of a living/sleeping area with extra sleeping facilities and a separate bedroom. The rooms also have a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.

Breakfast from 7-10:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm (winter)/1-3 pm (summer), dinner from 7-10 pm (summer) 6:30-10 pm (winter), all in buffet style. Midnight snacks from 10:30 pm-1 am. Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed in one of the four à la carte restaurants.
Snacks at the pool bar from 12-5 pm. Snacks at the Aqua Bar from 12-4:30 pm and from 12-5 pm at the Gamila Beach Restaurant. Tea time and pastries from 3-5 pm at the Sun Ray Lobby Bar.

This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of PlayStation games, and a sleep and chill-out room for naps.
