Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Route:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Then you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked additionally on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The brightly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped like the Suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the Suites, and may not have a French balcony or seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The pleasant hotel complex is nestled in a beautiful garden, ensuring a relaxing holiday. From May 1, 2026, the hotel will also be run as Adults Only (bookable for ages 16 and over). The complex comprises a total of 167 rooms. The inviting lobby with its reception area warmly welcomes guests, making them feel at home from the very first moment. The main restaurant with a terrace and several bars cater to your culinary needs. Additionally, in Madinat Makadi, you will find more à la carte restaurants, which can be used for a fee.
In the spacious garden area, there is a heated swimming pool (heated in winter) with a pool/snackbar. A beach bar is located on the beach and can be used free of charge during the day. Sunshades, loungers, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach.

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are larger at 45 sqm. Bookable until April 30, 26.

Junior Suite Pool View

The elegant Junior Suites (J2P) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, plus a sleeping area, a living area with a connecting door, and 2 bathrooms/WC. The Junior Suites are approx. 64 sqm.

Deluxe Garden

The Deluxe Garden View rooms (D2G) are larger than the Double Superior rooms with the same amenities and are 45 sqm. Bookable from May 1, 26.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suite (RS) offers, in addition to the amenities of the Double Superior rooms, a king-size bed, a private (heated in winter) pool, and a terrace. They are approx. 80 sqm and can accommodate 2 adults.

Breakfast from 7-10 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30-9 PM buffet style. Dinner is optionally available in an à la carte restaurant with prior reservation (1x per stay with reservation included).
