Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 a.m. (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to West Thebes to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Temple of Luxor (1,2,3) and the Temple of Karnak (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked on site).

Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed with a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and the three bars on board serving refreshing drinks. Additionally, there is a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship features a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To complete your vacation, relax on loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

The friendly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the Suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the Suites, and may be without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The spacious hotel complex in Mediterranean style comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously spread across seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished reception hall welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating areas; safes are available there free of charge. Culinary highlights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and three à la carte restaurants, offering an exquisite selection of seafood, oriental, and Italian specialties. The offerings are rounded off by a cozy bar, two pool bars, and a souvenir shop. The hotel's own spa area invites guests to relaxing wellness experiences with six different treatment rooms.
