When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked locally).
Morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
Morning sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).

Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an option for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally).

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Additionally, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the breathtaking views of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approximately 24 m² and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may lack a French balcony and seating area, instead having a non-opening window.

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort from the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and be enchanted. The holiday complex is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. It is about 17 km to the center of Hurghada and approx. 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

Spacious hotel lobby with modern chandelier, blue chairs, and a grand piano.
This particularly family-friendly resort has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. The upper floors can be comfortably reached by the five elevators. The reception hall offers a reception desk and a lobby bar. Four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques are available. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar", newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. The outdoor area features a pool landscape with a total of 13 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and one children's pool, 11 slides for adults, and 7 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 36m²) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, plus a sea view, and are located in the main building.

The Economy Double Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, are distributed throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited quota.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms but are larger (approx. 48 m²), consisting of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, as well as a balcony or terrace.

Breakfast buffet from 7 AM to 10 AM, late breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM in summer, and from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM in winter. Various snacks are always available. Afternoon coffee/tea, cake, and pastries. Ice cream for adults and children from 1 PM to 5 PM.
