Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Sailing to Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
The ship then sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic views of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The brightly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also includes a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter long lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes travel time) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in a Nubian village style, impresses with its cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. In the outdoor area, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For your culinary well-being, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also bookable for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) are renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a garden or pool view. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Superior Double Room Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms are renovated and newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (1-3 PM), and dinner (6-9 PM) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at midday (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in establishments of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
