Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Day 1
Arrival and boarding
Rest of the day at leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 In the early morning, you have the option of an optional hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Continue sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
 Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), followed by sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, we continue sailing from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Followed by breakfast on board during the onward journey.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, lunch is served during the cruise to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there is an opportunity to swim in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae (1,2,3), then a Felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to the Nubian Village (3).
 Lunch on board
Optional participation in the Sound and Light show at the Temple of Philae (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel including breakfast box (2,3)
Breakfast on board for guests not taking the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14-hour trip)
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, continue sailing from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours)
 Arrival in Luxor, visit the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental souk.
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58 m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style - inspired by antiquity to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreat areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool area and a cozy bar.

Built in Moroccan style, the hotel, part of the renowned Jaz Hotel group, is located directly on the private long sandy beach of the popular and idyllic Makadi Bay with a beautiful view of the coast. Hurghada Airport is approx. 30 km away. The hotel's own reef invites you to snorkel and dive in the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea. In the immediate vicinity is the Souk Makadi with numerous shops, restaurants and bars, inviting you to stroll. The aqua park is approx. 3 km from the hotel.

The Jaz Makadina is nestled in beautiful gardens and features 270 rooms spread across several small buildings within the complex. The hotel is also equipped with a welcoming reception, several shops, a buffet restaurant, an à la carte restaurant (for a fee), and various bars. Culinary diversity is provided not only by the show cooking in the hotel restaurant but also by the "Dine Around" concept of Souk Makadi.
The beautifully and spaciously designed garden area features a pool landscape with two swimming pools (one heated in winter) and a separate children's pool, as well as a pool bar and a beach bar. Additionally, there are two outdoor jacuzzis (adults only) in the outdoor area.
Sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, and towels are provided free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

The friendly furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 38 sqm and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), air conditioning, coffee/tea making facilities (refilled daily free of charge), minibar (for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace. A large bottle of water is provided daily in the room (free of charge).
Also available with pool view (DSP), side sea view (D2S), sea view (DMU) or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/UME).

Family Suite Superior

The Family Suites (F2U) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are slightly more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.
Also available with pool view (FUP) or sea-facing (FY2) at an additional charge.

Suite Superior

The Suite Superior rooms (SU2) have similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms but are more spacious (approx. 47 sqm) and feature an additional sitting/sleeping area separated by a curtain from the rest of the room.
Also available as a Double Deluxe room (DD2). In this room, the sitting/sleeping area is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Family Room Deluxe

The Family Deluxe rooms (2DF) have the same amenities as the Family Superior rooms. The sleeping area for children is separated from the rest of the room by a sliding door.

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The spacious (approx. 56 sqm) and elegant Junior Suites (J2S) offer the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, a queen-size bed, a separate living area, and 2 TVs. The Junior Suites are 56 sqm. They offer a variety of beautiful views and are luxuriously furnished.
