Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at your leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
Early morning, you have the option for an optional hot air balloon ride.
Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the sailing.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
Sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the sailing.
Visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3), followed by sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, sailing from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Subsequent breakfast on board during the sailing.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
Back on board, lunch is served while sailing to Hor Diab Island.

Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and Philae Temple (1,2,3), then a felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile

Day 6
Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with breakfast box included (2,3).

Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14 hours sailing).

Day 7

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style, inspired by antiquity to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreat areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool area and a comfortable bar.

Location

The popular hotel Iberotel Makadi Beach is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows in places right up to the shore and offers excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. The Makadi Souk is just a few meters from the hotel, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story accommodation units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting lobby with reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
The extensive outdoor area features a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, a pool bar, and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
