Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be used.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum (3) in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Hot air balloon excursion at 5 am (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Departure from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca sailing on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped lagoon of 1,500 meters with its own stretch of beach in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes by boat) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out into the Red Sea. From there, you can experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

Built in Nubian village style, the complex impresses with its cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes and arches, and has 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread over several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water games. Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. The main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars, cater to culinary needs.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle with coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The comfortable family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a garden view or a refreshing pool view. The rooms are equipped with two different bed types: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as requested. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Available for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.
