Product information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next available boarding date will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Departure from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Drive to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Departure for Esna and visit to Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet. Drinks at a charge.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sq m and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also available for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sq m) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Built in Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel complex stretches over nine small islands, on which the various hotel buildings are spread out. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately puts you in a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly operating boat and bus shuttle. Hurghada Airport is approx. 40 km away.

Designed by the renowned architect Michael Graves, the resort with 339 rooms fascinates with its colorful combination of Arab and Nubian styles and its location amidst a beautiful, exotic garden landscape. The comfortable, communal facilities include a spacious lobby with a reception, several well-maintained lounge areas, various shops, a hairdresser, and a beauty salon. Let yourself be pampered by the main restaurant "Miramar" and the two à la carte restaurants. Various bars are spread throughout the beautiful complex, including the impressive "Miramar Bar," which offers small snacks and drinks. In the outdoor area, guests can enjoy the large pool landscape (partially heated) with comfortable sun terraces. Sun loungers, cushions, sunshades, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach. The beach with its turquoise lagoons invites you to swim. From the hotel complex, you can also reach the public island beach "Zeytouna Beach" and the "Zeytouna Beach Pier" on foot.

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and are approx. 38 sq m in size. The rooms have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's own lagoon. Also available as a double room for single use (DEU).

Premium Double Room with Side Sea View

The rooms (P2D) have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually controlled air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (refilled daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, safe, and balcony or terrace. The rooms have a side sea view and have been renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The freshly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located on the first beach line. Also available for single use (BF1).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms but is more spacious (approx. 52 sq m) and has an open living area.
