Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo by our luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).
Upon arrival at the port, welcome drink. Check-in on board. Lunch and dinner on board and overnight stay in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light Show in the Pyramid area (bookable on site).
Day 2:
Breakfast on board. Visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1,2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Return to the ship and departure for Beni Suef (approx. 15 hours sailing). Dinner on board and overnight stay in Beni Suef.
Day 3:
After breakfast, optional visit to the pyramids of the Middle Kingdom at Hawara and Lahun. Continue to Al Minya City (approx. 15 hours sailing). Lunch on board during the journey. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Al Minya.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Visit of Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaten" (2), followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan tombs (2). Afterwards, return to the ship and lunch on board. Continue sailing to Assuit (approx. 10 hours). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Assuit.
Day 5:
Early morning departure for Sohag (approx. 10 hours sailing). In the afternoon, optional visit to the White and Red Monasteries in Sohag. Meals on board and overnight stay in Sohag.
Day 6:
Early morning, the ship will cross the Sohag Bridge and continue sailing to Al Balyana (approx. 4 hours sailing). After breakfast, possibility to visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2). Afterwards, return to the ship in Al Balyana and continue sailing to Nag Hammadi. Meals on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Possibility for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Hurghada by bus. On the way, visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor in Dendera (1,2) and then continue to Hurghada. A light lunch is included. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hurghada.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 well-appointed outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiard room on board. You can relax and enjoy your vacation on the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar.

Location

The extensive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400-meter-long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach that facilitates entry into deeper water and provides perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is about 300 meters away. Hurghada town center is approximately 20 km away, and Hurghada International Airport is about 15 km away.

Facilities

Experience water fun for the whole family in the popular 5-star family resort! The complex is nestled in a beautiful and generously designed garden landscape. Spend a great family vacation and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The hotel complex, particularly popular with regular guests, has 481 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray Lobby Bar, and the Giardino Buffet Restaurant. The spacious and well-maintained garden offers an extensive pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and Children's Pool with slides; heated in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own aqua park with twelve different water slides (usable from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (Octopus, Snake) that will make the hearts of water lovers, young and old, beat faster.

Double Room Superior

The 45 m² tastefully decorated Double Rooms Superior (DSU) feature a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, minibar (daily replenished with water, soft drinks refilled once a week), air conditioning, safe, TV, and a balcony or terrace.
Also available for single use (DE, DES). Also bookable as Type I (DI) at a special price, limited availability.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms, but with limited availability and a special price.

Double Room Deluxe

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DPB), with the same amenities as the Double Rooms, are also approximately 45 m² and additionally feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a seating area with a side table, and a dressing table. The rooms have a pool view.
Also available for single use (DPE).
Also available with side sea view (DMS/EDD) and as Type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

Katta Family Room

The Katta Family Rooms (KWF) with bunk beds are bookable as original Schauinsland-Reisen rooms and are freshly renovated in the Katta style (bookable under KWF and DF2).
The rooms feature additional amenities for children, such as a Katta-style bunk bed, a Katta play area with beanbags and a small table with chairs, as well as an extra Smart TV with HDMI connection and a Katta height chart on the wall. The sockets are also equipped with child safety locks. The bathrooms have towel racks at child height and a small step in front of the sink. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approximately 45 m² in size.
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
With 2 adults and 3 children, space is limited.

Katta Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/FMK) are bookable as original Schauinsland-Reisen rooms and have been renovated.
The suites are approximately 75 m² and consist of two separate bedrooms with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds, separated by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are furnished similarly to the double rooms and have a Smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature special lighting effects, a dresser with a Smart TV and HDMI connection, and a chill-out area with beanbags. The sockets are equipped with child safety locks, and the bathrooms have a small step and child-sized towel racks.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in Katta's Family Suites.
The family suites can also accommodate 4 adults.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approximately 80 m² and consist of a living/sleeping area with extra sleeping possibilities and a separate bedroom. The rooms also have a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.

The Beach Front rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms, but are located in the first row to the beach and have sea views.

Breakfast from 7-10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM (winter)/1 PM-3 PM (summer), dinner from 7 PM-10 PM (summer) 6:30 PM-10 PM (winter), all served as a buffet. Midnight snacks from 10:30 PM-1 AM. Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed in one of the four à la carte restaurants.
Snacks at the pool bar from 12 PM-5 PM. Snacks at the Aqua Bar from 12 PM-4:30 PM and from 12 PM-5 PM at the Gamila Beach Restaurant. Tea time and pastries from 3 PM-5 PM at the Sun Ray Lobby Bar.
In the main restaurant, Katta's restaurant area is available for children, offering an extra children's buffet and children's tables.

Katta's Miniclub is available for younger guests (3-12 years) in German, offering games and fun with Katta and his friends. This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of PlayStation games, and a sleep and chill-out room for naps. In the evening, a children's cinema is available in the Miniclub. Art and cooking classes, as well as sports activities, complete the program. Additionally, there is a playground for the little ones, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini aqua park with a pool. Katta offers a special highlight with his garden: here, children can find various vegetables that Katta tends to with the young guests.

Wellness
