Product information

Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Transfer from Hurghada to Cairo by our luxury VIP bus (approx. 6 hours drive).
Upon arrival at the port, welcome drink. Check-in on board. Lunch and dinner on board and overnight stay in Cairo.
There is an option for an optional excursion in the evening to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light Show in the Pyramid area (can be booked on site).
Day 2:
Breakfast on board. Visit to the Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Return to the ship and departure for Beni Suif (approx. 15 hours drive). Dinner on board and overnight stay in Beni Suif.
Day 3:
After breakfast, optional visit to the Middle Kingdom pyramids of Hawara and Lahun. Continue to Al Minya City (approx. 15 hours drive). Lunch on board during the journey. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Al Minya.
Day 4:
Breakfast. Visit to Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaton" (2), followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Afterwards, return to the ship and lunch on board. Continue to Assuit (approx. 10 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Assuit.
Day 5:
Departure early in the morning for Suhag (approx. 10 hours drive). In the afternoon, optional visit to the White and Red Monasteries in Suhag. Meals on board and overnight stay in Suhag.
Day 6:
Early in the morning, the ship will cross the Suhag Bridge and continue sailing to Al Balyana (approx. 4 hours drive). After breakfast, possibility to visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2). Afterwards, return to the ship in Al Balyana and continue to Nag Hammadi. Meals on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch at a restaurant during the excursion. Option for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out and transfer to Hurghada by bus. On the way, you will visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor in Dendera (1.2) and then continue to Hurghada. A light lunch is included. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Hurghada.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offering is complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. You can relax and enjoy your vacation on the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with repeat guests, is located directly on Hurghada's beachfront in one of the region's most popular coastal stretches. The spacious complex is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise waters. Together with its two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is directly on the "ALDAU Art Promenade" with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. The bustling town center of Hurghada, the well-known "Sakalla", is about 10 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 6 km away.

The spacious hotel is equipped with over 400 modern suites, most of which have a direct sea view. You can expect a luxurious and open-plan lobby with a reception area, seating, and two lobby bars. In the outdoor area of the complex, there is an extensive pool landscape covering over 5,000 m³ with a "Lazy River" of over 400 meters winding through the complex, as well as a seawater pool (heated) and a "Jacuzzi Island" (for ages 16+). Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. A selection of five different bars and seven diverse restaurants cater to your culinary desires. The schauinsland-reisen original rooms (DLM) have the same amenities as the Superior Suite Sea View and are guaranteed to be on the 4th floor, offering a breathtaking sea view.
Also available on the 5th floor (DDM) as an option.

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) have the same amenities as the Superior Suites but are larger (approx. 55 m²) with a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and sea view.

The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approximately 115 m² and features an open bathroom with shower and whirlpool, separate toilet, a separate guest toilet, RFID door lock, an open living area, a bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, an espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites have a sea view. These rooms are adults-only.

Executive Suite

Enjoy your breakfast (7-10:30 AM), lunch (1-4 PM), and dinner (6:30-10 PM in summer and 6-10 PM in winter) in buffet form, with changing theme buffets in the evening, at the main restaurant "Tamarind". Alternatively, for lunch, the "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" is available with a lunch menu from 1-5 PM, or the "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch buffet from 12-3 PM and a lunch menu from 1-4 PM. For dinner, in addition to the main restaurant, the following seven à la carte restaurants offer a selection of delicacies once a week (advance reservation required): "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" with Mediterranean cuisine, "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with Oriental cuisine, "Alex Beach Club and Restaurant-Adults Only" with modern fusion cuisine, 3 restaurants in "S-Square" on the ALDAU Art Promenade with, for example, Asian cuisine.
