Location

The Old Palace Resort is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach in the popular holiday region of Sahl Hasheesh. The town center with various shopping facilities, restaurants and bars, as well as the marina, is approximately 5 km away. The promenade located directly next to the hotel invites you for a stroll, especially in the evenings. Hurghada Airport is approximately 25 km away.

Facilities

The hotel has 292 rooms, spread across a main building and three annex buildings. The complex also features a reception hall with a reception desk, a spa area, a beauty salon, and various shops. Culinary delights await you in the main restaurant "El Kasr," which offers all meals in buffet form, and in the two à la carte restaurants "Cucina" (Italian cuisine) and "Poncho" (Brazilian cuisine). The offerings are rounded off by five bars, where you can get drinks throughout the day.
In the well-maintained and spacious garden area, there is a large main pool and a Jacuzzi pool (heated in winter). Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach.

Double room

The friendly furnished double rooms (D) are approx. 37m² in size and feature individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe, minibar (refilled once a week with soft drinks included), kettle, bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace with garden view. Type I is also bookable (DI).

Double Superior

The Double Superior rooms (DSU) have the same amenities as the double rooms and offer pool or side sea view.

Double Deluxe Sea View

The Double Deluxe Sea View rooms (DM2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are more spacious (approx. 47m²) and offer sea views.

Late riser breakfast from 11 am-1 pm. Lunch offers various snacks and ice cream from 2:30-4:30 pm. Coffee/tea and cake are available in the afternoon from 3-5 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, cocktails, tea, and coffee are included from 10 am-11 pm. A small bottle of water, tea, and coffee (kettle) are provided in the room daily.

Dinner can also be enjoyed in one of the two à la carte restaurants, which are open on a rotating basis and not every day. These are included only once per stay with a minimum stay of 7 nights.
