Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. A long jetty leads from Zeytouna Beach out to the Red Sea. From there, experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in Nubian village style, impresses with its cozy flair, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water games. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's own beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been completely renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Superior Double Room

The newly bookable Superior Rooms (DSU, 28 m²) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea and coffee making facilities.
Available for single use (DSE).

Superior Plus Double Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Superior Double Rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 am), lunch (1-3 pm), and dinner (6-9 pm) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers afternoon tea with various snacks from 4-5 pm. Various specialty restaurants are also available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 am buffet style), lunch (11 am-3 pm à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 pm à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12-3 pm à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 pm à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 pm à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – completely free of charge for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
A table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12 pm on the same day) is recommended.

Sports included

Sports for a fee

Bicycle rental, billiards, and a dive center at the hotel (external provider) with various water sports activities. In addition, El Gouna offers various fitness activities through external providers, such as tennis and golf (18-hole golf course).
