Location

The modern 5-star oriental-style resort is located in the idyllic and exclusive oasis of Abu Soma. The resort impresses with its location directly on the hotel's own sandy beach, approximately 200 m long. In Soma Bay, you'll find dreamlike coral reefs inviting you to snorkel and dive. The nearest town with entertainment and shopping facilities, as well as a hotel promenade with shops, is just a few steps away from the hotel. The center of Safaga is about 5 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 52 km away.

The Amarina Abu Soma Resort features 392 stylishly furnished rooms spread across six different buildings within the resort.
The hotel welcomes its guests into an elegant lobby with a reception, seating areas, and a lobby bar. Explore the gastronomic offerings in one of the four restaurants. The main restaurant offers a diverse international buffet, while the three à la carte restaurants serve Oriental, Italian, or Asian cuisine. Enjoy a drink at one of the ten different bars, all serving delicious beverages at various times. The beautifully landscaped outdoor area features five swimming pools, some of which are heated in winter. The aqua park with seven water slides and a children's pool with a mini aqua park ensure plenty of water fun for all ages. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge by the pool and on the beach. The resort also houses various small shops (mini-market, boutique, jeweler) for guests to browse in the evenings. Furthermore, the hotel has its own hairdresser and a disco (for ages 16 and up).

Double room

The friendly furnished double rooms (D) are approx. 30 sqm and equipped with toilet/shower, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, safe, coffee/tea maker, Wi-Fi, minibar (for a fee), and balcony or terrace.
Available at an extra charge with pool view (PD), sea view (DM), and for single occupancy (DE, PDE, DEM).
Also bookable as Type I with a limited quota and special price (DI).

Superior double room

The Superior double rooms (DSU), with similar amenities to the double rooms, are larger (approx. 35-40 sqm).
Also bookable with pool view (DSP) and for single occupancy (DEU, ESP).

Deluxe double room

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2), with the same amenities as the double rooms, are larger (approx. 36-42 sqm).
Also bookable for single occupancy (DD1).

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are larger (approx. 36-42 sqm) and feature two sleeping areas separated by a sliding door. One room has a king-size bed and the other has two single beds.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms but have a limited quota and a special price.

Breakfast from 7-10 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30-9:30 PM, all in buffet form at the main restaurant "Elements Restaurant".
Alternatively, dinner can be taken in one of the three à la carte restaurants (reservation required; with a minimum stay of 5 days, dinner in the à la carte restaurant is included once per stay). Choose between the following restaurants: "Chopstick" for Asian cuisine, "Luca Toni" for Italian cuisine, or "Zeina" for Oriental cuisine.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are included from 10 AM to 12 AM at the respective open bars.

Sports included

Water aerobics, aerobics, darts, boccia, billiards, beach volleyball, water polo, table tennis.
The fitness room is open daily from 7 AM to 7 PM (sports shoes are mandatory).

Sports for a fee

Water sports and diving center (PADI certified) are located on the beach (local provider, for a fee).

Children's program

For children aged 4-12, various program activities are available at the hotel's own mini club. Language and opening hours vary depending on the season and occupancy. The resort also features a playground, a children's pool with a mini aqua park, and a separate children's corner in the restaurant.
Cots are also available free of charge upon request.

Wellness

For ultimate relaxation, the resort offers a spa area with a whirlpool, sauna, steam bath, and hammam. Various beauty treatments and massages are available. The spa area is open daily from 9 AM to 7 PM for guests aged 16 and over and some services may incur a fee.
