Location

This 5-star resort, belonging to the renowned Mövenpick hotel chain, is located in a quiet area directly on the Red Sea coast, featuring golden beaches and crystal-clear waters. The chic complex is situated directly on the gently sloping sandy beach of Soma Bay. The Soma Bay reef impresses with its colorful underwater world, inviting snorkeling and diving enthusiasts. A long bathing pier provides easy access to the deeper water beyond the reef and offers a fantastic view of the turquoise blue sea. Hurghada Airport and the city center are approximately 50 km north of the resort.

Facilities

The 418 rooms and suites of the Mövenpick Resort Soma Bay, decorated in azure blue and cream, enchant guests with their special flair. The stylishly furnished entrance hall welcomes guests with a blend of elegance and a cozy atmosphere, equipped with a reception and seating areas. For your culinary enjoyment, there is a main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace, an Italian à la carte restaurant, and an oriental outdoor à la carte restaurant designed in traditional Arabic style. The restaurants offer guests fresh specialties and an extra touch of Mövenpick's culinary creativity. Additionally, a pool bar, beach bar, and lobby bar are available for snacks and refreshments (adults-only quiet zone from 6 PM, families with children are served on the outdoor terrace). The resort also features several shops, including a souvenir shop, a mini-market, and a boutique. Nestled within meticulously landscaped gardens, the generously designed pool area with its sun terrace and pool bar is the heart of the complex.
The newly built "Splash Mania" water park, with its various splash pools and water slides for all ages, ensures special aquatic fun.

Double Room (D)

The luxurious rooms are approx. 30 sqm and equipped with a bath or shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, LCD satellite TV, minibar (for a fee), cosmetic mirror, coffee/tea making facilities (refilled daily, incl. 1.5-liter bottle of water), safe, and individually controlled air conditioning. Some rooms have a French balcony; otherwise, no balcony or terrace.
Also available for single occupancy (DE).

Super Saver Room (SSZ)

These saver rooms are equipped like the double rooms but have a special price and limited availability.

The deluxe sea view rooms are equipped like the deluxe double rooms but offer a sea view.
Also available for single occupancy (DM1).

Family Room (DF2)

The family rooms are equipped like the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 60 sqm) with additional sofa beds and a large balcony. Mountain view.
Please note that a room with two adults and three children may feel cramped.
